This was a wonderful opportunity to work on the oldest commercial building in Downtown Oregon City!
The main floor of the building didn't really have an optimized design for a bar and grill. We removed the wall separating the main room, and began work on a bar that was a perfect compliment to the building.
The bar core was constructed, and wrapped entirely in 3/4 inch sheeting, providing excellent sheer strength. The core was also bolted down to the subfloor.
Once the preliminary work was completed, we began overlaying the sheeting with beautiful red mahogany. With the red mahogany sheeting on we used 1x4 and 1x6 of the same material and trimmed out against all surfaces, including the Absolute Black granite bar top.
After construction on the new bar was completed, we outfitted the entire main level restaurant in brand new industrial grade glue down LVP. -
