Growing up on an organic farm in the Mt. Adams area Owner Adam Lucas, as an adolescent began working summers for his father’s construction co in the Hood River OR area in the late 1970’s. He enlisted in the Us Navy in 1985 and became a US Naval Air Intercept Controller. After completing five years of service Adam returned to the NW and started up his own construction co in Portland, OR in 1991.
Growing up in a small town in Western Washington co-owner Sarah Cox was ready to get out of town. She enrolled at Clover Park Technical College in Lakewood, WA were she received her Associate Degree in Interior Design and Architecture in 1999. Upon completing her college internship she was offered employment as a new design and sales consultant with a large furniture co in downtown Olympia, WA. She worked helping clients create and assemble new interior spaces with brands such as Drexel Heritage, Karastan, Universal Furniture, Wesley Allen, and Lexington Home Brands.
